Mr. Bandara Herath, a Senior Assistant Engineer of Sri Lanka Telecom has invented a portable ventilator which can be used for patients in ICUs. This equipment is already handed over to Kandy teaching hospital. It was accepted by the doctors and he has received a request for two more ventilators with few improvements.
