SLT and Epic Technology Group launch “Helaviru Digital Economic Center”, an online platform for farmers.

Sri Lanka Telecom - the national ICT service provider and Epic Technology Group – one of the leading digital technology solution providers in the region, proudly launched the Helaviru Digital Economic Center Online Platform on the 31st July 2020. Helaviru Agro-produce & Commodities Trading Platform is a Cloud-based Digital Marketplace that facilitates trading activities (buying & selling) of Agriculture and Farm Produce and Commodities among diverse stakeholders on a seamlessly connected supply chain.

SLT continues as ICT Partner of Sri Dalada Maligawa.

SLT has strengthened its partnership as the official ICT Service Provider of the Sri Dalada Maligawa ,Kandy for the 8th consecutive  year.

An agreement was signed recently to provide multitude of ICT solutions including Broad band services, PEO TV and voice communication via high speed SLT Fibre technology to the Maligawa . These services will be provided free of charge and will facilitate the media centre of Dalanda Maligawa to undertake the broadcasting and sharing of cultural and religious information with the public.

SLT and Mobitel joining hands with Manusath Derana , conduct “SMILE WITHIN” one million masks donation campaign.

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC and SLT Mobitel joining hands with “Manusath Derana “currently carrying out the “SMILE WITHIN” one million masks donation and awareness campaign helping to make Sri Lanka a much safer place to return to normalcy. This program is implemented as a public service at Corona pandemic while the World Health Organization recommended to wear masks.

The campaign started in Colombo and continued in public places around the country including North and East provinces.

SLT powers ‘AL Kuppiya’ to enhance digital learning of A/L students.

Sri Lanka Telecom, the National Telecommunication Service provider, announced its partnership with AL Kuppiya, the e-learning platform catering for Advanced Level students, by introducing special data bundles for SLT Broadband customers. The partnership agreement was signed with Crayons Education (Pvt) Ltd. the online educational service provider that hosts the programme.

SLT enters into an agreement with Sri Lanka Port Authority to provide communication services to SLPA.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the National ICT solutions & Digital services provider signed an agreement with Sri Lanka Port Authority (SLPA) to provide communication services to SLPA. The agreement between the two companies was signed at the SLPA premises in Colombo. On behalf of SLPA; Chairman- General Daya Ratnayake, Managing Director - Mr. W.S. Weeraman, and on behalf of SLT, CEO -Mr. Kiththi Perera, Chief Enterprise & Wholesale Officer - Mr. Janaka Abeysinghe signed the agreement as the authorized signatories.
