Sri Lanka Telecom, the National Telecommunication Service provider, announced its partnership with AL Kuppiya, the e-learning platform catering for Advanced Level students, by introducing special data bundles for SLT Broadband customers. The partnership agreement was signed with Crayons Education (Pvt) Ltd. the online educational service provider that hosts the programme.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the National ICT solutions & Digital services provider signed an agreement with Sri Lanka Port Authority (SLPA) to provide communication services to SLPA. The agreement between the two companies was signed at the SLPA premises in Colombo. On behalf of SLPA; Chairman- General Daya Ratnayake, Managing Director - Mr. W.S. Weeraman, and on behalf of SLT, CEO -Mr. Kiththi Perera, Chief Enterprise & Wholesale Officer - Mr. Janaka Abeysinghe signed the agreement as the authorized signatories.

SLT & Mobitel partnered with Manusath Derana on a national level CSR project that aims to convert decommissioned SLTB buses into fully-fledged libraries. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the National Library of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) and Mobitel partnered with “Manusath Derana” to help transform 25 decommissioned Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses into modern and fully equipped libraries. These library buses will contain reading facilities, WiFi connectivity and other such support systems ready to enable children to connect with the information world. These libraries will act as learning centres that will provide equal opportunities for students with accessible educational resources and to help inculcate the crucial habit of reading.

The national ICT and digital services provider, Sri Lanka Telecom PLC recently entered into an agreement with NEMRA Properties (Pvt) Ltd., a BOI approved property development and construction company in Sri Lanka to power 5 major condominium projects that are currently under construction in Colombo city. The agreement signing took place recently at SLT premises in Colombo Fort, with SLT CEO Mr. Kiththi Perera and Chief Sales and Regional Officer Mr. Imantha WIjekoon signing on behalf of the company while Director Mr. Jude Rozarius signed on behalf of Nemra Properties.
