Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the organizers of the most popular cross country cycle race- “SLT Speed Up Sawariya”, recently organized the awards ceremony for the company’s Speed Up & Win online bicycle competition to award the top three winners of the game. The winners were recognized and awarded at the Rupavahini Morning Show-“ Sanhinda” recently.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) entered into a partnership with Capital Trust Properties (Pvt) Ltd., the trusted partner in real estate to power two new apartment complexes with SLT’s superior fibre connectivity as the Digital Services Provider. This partnership will entail SLT to provide the fibre infrastructure for the 29 apartments at the (Capital Trust Residencies- Kotte) and 32 apartments at the (Capital Trust Residencies - Thibirigasyaya) located at Ethul Kotte and Thimbirigasyaya Road, Colombo 05 respectively.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the provider of ultra-fast broadband connectivity in the country together with the Southern Motor Sports Club (SMSC), a club affiliated to the Sri Lanka Automobile Sports, was proud to announce that the “Southern Eliyakanda Hill Climb 2019” will take place on 17^th February 2019 from 07.30am onwards. This is yet another racing event that SLT has associated with and decided to support with the vision of empowering and uplifting motor sports in the country, under the theme “SLT Speed Up”.

The deal includes Fontech’s Wi-Fi Service Management Platform (WSMP) and Connection Manager as well as an international roaming agreement with FonSri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider and leading broadband and backbone infrastructure services provider in the country, and Fon, the world’s leading carrier Wi-Fi provider based on Madrid, Spain, have recently signed an agreement.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider won six awards at the prestigious JASTECA awards 2018. Regional Telecom office – Rathmalana won a merit award - ‘Taiki Akimoto 5S Awards” and the company’s CSR project “160 year project supporting Sri Lankans wellbeing” won another merit award – “CSR sustainability Awards 2018” category. Certificates of Compliance were awarded to SLT Regional Offices Havelock town, Maradana, Kotte & teleshop Slave Island . This Awards ceremony was conducted for the 23^rd consecutive year.
