Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider in the country was recognized once again at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Presented Annual Report Awards and SAARC Anniversary Awards for Corporate Governance Disclosures 2017, for the company’s Annual Report 2017. The award ceremony was held in Pune, India recently. Ms. Wasana Illesinghe ( Senior Accountant) from SLT Finance Group and Ms. Umesha Sandarenu ( Manager) from SLT Marketing Group were present at the awards ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The deal includes Fontech’s Wi-Fi Service Management Platform (WSMP) and Connection Manager as well as an international roaming agreement with FonSri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider and leading broadband and backbone infrastructure services provider in the country, and Fon, the world’s leading carrier Wi-Fi provider based on Madrid, Spain, have recently signed an agreement.

Regional Telecom office – Rathmalana won a merit award - ‘Taiki Akimoto 5S Awards” and the company’s CSR project “160 year project supporting Sri Lankans wellbeing” won another merit award – “CSR sustainability Awards 2018” category. Certificates of Compliance were awarded to SLT Regional Offices Havelock town, Maradana, Kotte & teleshop Slave Island . This Awards ceremony was conducted for the 23^rd consecutive year.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) emerged as the champions (Division C) at the Nationalized Elle Championship 2019 held recently at Nawaloka Sports Grounds in Welisara. The tournament was organized by the Nationalized Elle Federation of Sri Lanka. Sixteen teams were participated the tournament representing the leading organizations in Island wide.
