SLT Citylink Pre-Paid connections can now be reloaded at the ease and convenience of customers, at any Mobitel branch and over 8,000 mCash retailer points located islandwide as well as through any Mobitel phone by dialing #111# & Mobitel’s mCash mobile app. Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider, working in collaboration with the national mobile services provider Mobitel, recently expanded the reload points for SLT Citylink Pre-Paid connections to provide customers with the benefits of reloading via Mobitel’s extensive mCash network.

Sri Lanka Telecom launches Calendar 2016 under the theme “Wild Fruits of Sri Lanka”

 Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT solutions provider in the country and responsible corporate citizen launched its calendar for the year 2016 under the theme “Wild Fruits of Sri Lanka”. The calendar was launched during a special event held on Wednesday, 16th December 2015 at SLT premises in Fort Colombo. SLT Introduces SEA-ME-WE 5 Submarine Cable System and First Tier 4 ready Data Center to Sri Lanka.

In 2014 SLT proudly announced its partnership with 15 international telecommunication operators representing 17 countries, in the formation of a consortium in order to build the South East Asia - Middle East - Western Europe 5 (SEA-ME-WE 5) state-of-the-art undersea cable system. The 1st of February 2016 marked the arrival of this multi-regional superhighway in Sri Lanka by the opening of the - cable-landing station building for the SEA-ME-WE 5 in Matara.
