The Longest cycle race in Sri Lanka "SLT Speedup Sawariya-2019”, men’s race will commence from Galle Face Green on September 24, 2019 at 8.30 a.m. It will travel through Panadura, Rathnapura, Embilipitiya, Wellawaya, Bandarawela, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Vauniya, Trincomalee marking the finish at Dambulla on 28^th September. The two day women’s race will commence on 27^th September starting from Colombo and travel through Kurunegala and finish on 28^th September at Dambulla.

The Day 2 - SLT Speedup Cycle Sawariya started from Embilipitiya on its way to Bandarawela on 25^th of September morning. The cyclists traveled through Ambalantota, Hambanthota, Weerawila, Wellawaya, Ella to reach Bandarawela covering a distance of 156 Km. The race was flagged off by Mr.

The 4^th day of SLT Speedup Cycle Sawariya men’s race started from Kurunegala and marked the finish at Trincomalee yesterday. The race travelled through Wariyapola, Thambuttegama, Anuradhapura, Medawachchiya, Vauniya, Kebithigollawa, Morawewa and reached the end point at Trincomalee covering a distance of 241Km. Meanwhile the 1^st day of women race reached the finish line at Kurunegala in the same day.

Sri Lanka’s longest across the country cycle race organized by the Sri Lanka Telecom successfully came to an end on 28^th of September in Dambulla. The final day men race started from Trincomalee and travelled through Kantale, Habarana, Inamaluwa and marked the end point at Dambulla.
