SLT paves the way “Towards a digital nation” by partnering INFOTEL 2019.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading broadband and digital services provider in Sri Lanka was proud to announce that it will be partnering the much awaited national ICT expo, INFOTEL 2019 which will be conducted at the BMICH from 1st to 3rd November 2019. Running for the 27th consecutive year, the theme of this year’s expo is “Towards a digital nation”.

SLT fibre to power Green Land Residencies, another high-rise apartment complex in Colombo city.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT and digital services provider entered into an agreement with Green Land Property Developers to provide the ICT infrastructure for the latest apartment complex currently under construction in Colombo City, Green Land Residencies. The agreement was signed recently at SLT head office premises in Colombo Fort by authorized signatories Mr. Kiththi Perera, Chief Executive Officer of SLT and Mr. A.R.M. Jiffri, Chairman of Green Land Property Developers.

The Sri Lanka Telecom Group (SLT) will be conducting a Digital Lifestyle Expo and Fun Fair at the INFOTEL 2019, which is scheduled to be held at the BMICH from 1st to 3rd November 2019. Conducted under the theme “SLT Digitastic”, the SLT expo seeks to provide an unmatched digital experience to the visitors to INFOTEL 2019, powered by SLT’s superior ICT knowledge and capabilities. Gateway College Colombo emerge as the Champions of the SLT powered Inter-school E-Sports Championship 2019.

Gateway College Colombo emerged as the champions of the 4th annual Inter-school E-Sports Championships organized by Gamer.lk and powered by SLT’s ultrafast broadband connectivity that offered an unmatched cyber game experience to the enthusiastic gamers. The grand finale took place between Gateway College Colombo and Nalanda College Colombo at Stein Studios, Ratmalana recently, amidst much excitement and the rush of adrenaline.

SLT & University of Moratuwa declare new IoT Design Innovation Lab open.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT and digital services provider in Sri Lanka, together with the University of Moratuwa, one of the leading technological universities in Sri Lanka declared open a laboratory dedicated to the research and development of Internet of Things (IoT) at the University premises. The IoT Design Innovation laboratory was declared open on Tuesday, 29th October 2019 by SLT Chairman, Mr. P.G.

SLT partner with SME solutions providers to provide “total solutions”

Sri Lanka Telecom, the leading ICT and digital solutions provider in the country successfully concluded the company’s SME Solutions Partnership Day 2019, at Taj Saumudra, Colombo. This event was organized to showcase the solution portfolio of SME solutions partners, sign agreements with them and to build & strengthen relationships between partners and SLT sales staff. SLT signed agreements with 27 SME solutions providers for a period of three years.

SLT annual report recognized by SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards 2018.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT and digital solutions provider to the nation was recognized once again at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Presented Annual Report Awards and SAARC Anniversary Awards for Corporate Governance Disclosures 2018, for the company’s Annual Report 2018. The award ceremony was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh recently. Mr. U. H. Rodrigo (Deputy General Manager) and Mr. Thushara Amaranath (Manager) were presented at the awards ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

SLT celebrates Thai Pongal with students of Colombuthurai Thuraiyappa Vidyalaya, Jaffna.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT and digital solutions provider conducted a special event at Colombuthurai Thuraiyappa Vidyalaya, Jaffna recently in celebration of Thai Pongal, the harvest festival celebrated by the Hindu community in Sri Lanka as well as across the globe. This celebration conducted by SLT was one among a series of corporate social responsibility initiatives conducted by the company to uplift rural schools as well as foster cultural and religious harmony and encourage social cohesion amongst the different communities in the country.
