SLT Steps into Minimizing Carbon Footprint, under the 'Earth is Calling, Are You Listening' Initiative.

In a global context that is witnessing a lot of multi-faceted issues, both environmental and social, due to the emission of greenhouse gases and irresponsible energy consumption, the national ICT service provider Sri Lanka Telecom PLC has taken successful initial steps to make it a 'carbon-neutral' company, under the common theme of 'Earth is Calling, Are You Listening?'. This is carried out as one initiative of SLT's overall mission of minimizing the emission of carbon into the environment in the course of its operations that include a wide range of activities.

Colombo, Sri Lanka – By revolutionizing the country’s connected mobility services and traditional taxi services industries, Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT), through its Digital services subsidiary company, SLT Digital Info Services (Pvt) Ltd (SLTDS). SLTDS is set to offer ride-sharing services in Sri Lanka under the brand name of “SLT muve”.

“SLT Speed Up Cycle Sawariya-2019” in September

The National information and communications technology solutions provider and the leading broadband and backbone infrastructure provider in the country, Sri Lanka Telecom PLC proudly announces that the much acknowledged SLT Speed-Up Cycle Sawariya is scheduled to be held from 24th to 28th September 2019, for the 4th successive year. This national cycle race was first organized in 2016 with the objective of uplifting cycling-related sports activities in the country.

SLT won an International Award - Quality Choice Prize 2019 Winner of Gold category

The national ICT solutions provider Sri Lanka Telecom PLC proudly announce that the company was awarded the Quality Choice Prize 2019 under the Gold Category by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), recognizing the highest quality standards to which the company adheres in the course of its business operations. The award was presented to the company at the ESQR’s Quality Choice Prize 2019 Convention held in Berlin (Germany) recently.
