The programme is designed to provide an attractive opportunity for early-stage tech entrepreneurs to gain access to funding, mentoring and to building connections in the tech ecosystem, as they look to take their innovations to the next level.  

SLT-MOBITEL Extends sltgo Wi-Fi Proposition to Prepaid Customers.

With the objective of continually upgrading mobility services for all Sri Lankans, SLT-MOBITEL, the national ICT and mobile services provider has extended the sltgo Wi-Fi offering for all prepaid customers, providing them the opportunity to access unlimited data through their smartphones, laptop or other mobile devices. This service was introduced with the launch of sltgo Prepaid Solutions, held recently.

SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT and Telecommunications Service Provider, in demonstrating purposeful leadership to help communities overcome the pandemic, has stepped up efforts to further support the nation by donating several Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing machines to District Hospitals across the country. The first PCR machine valued at over Rs. 5 million was gifted to Karawanella Base Hospital, in the Kegalle district today (16).

SLT-MOBITEL Donates PCR Machine to Matale District Hospital To Safeguard Communities From COVID-19.

 SLT-MOBITEL has taken steps to donate PCR machines to several selected hospitals islandwide aligned to its CSR project ‘Sabandiyawe Sathkaraya’ demonstrating its commitment to Safeguard Communities From COVID-19. The second PCR machine in this project, valued at Rs. 5 million, was donated to the District General Hospital, Matale recently. The first PCR machine was earlier handed over to the Base Hospital, Karawanella in Kegalle District.

SLT Group Consolidates Cost, Manages Waste to Deliver Positive Results in First Half 2021.

Colombo, Aug 02, 2021 – SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT, Telecommunications and Mobile Services Provider, announced its financial results for the first half of 2021, posting a 29.9% year-on-year growth of Group Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 6.0 Bn. Cost consolidation across verticals and a group wide undertaking to minimize waste, convert waste to cash, and manage OPEX cost resulted in the healthy bottom-line.
