SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT and Telecommunications Service Provider, in demonstrating purposeful leadership to help communities overcome the pandemic, has stepped up efforts to further support the nation by donating several Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing machines to District Hospitals across the country. The first PCR machine valued at over Rs. 5 million was gifted to Karawanella Base Hospital, in the Kegalle district today (16).

 SLT-MOBITEL has taken steps to donate PCR machines to several selected hospitals islandwide aligned to its CSR project ‘Sabandiyawe Sathkaraya’ demonstrating its commitment to Safeguard Communities From COVID-19. The second PCR machine in this project, valued at Rs. 5 million, was donated to the District General Hospital, Matale recently. The first PCR machine was earlier handed over to the Base Hospital, Karawanella in Kegalle District.

Donates Third PCR Machine to KDU Hospital

With the increase of Covid-19 cases, hospitals across the country have become critical centres to test, treat and care for patients who are in need. As such, SLT-MOBITEL has donated the third PCR machine to the Kotalawala Defence University Hospital (KDUH) recently. The Rs 5.2 million worth donation is a part of the company’s ‘Sabandiyawe Sathakaraya’ CSR initiative in helping the nation’s healthcare systems and communities in need.

SLT-MOBITEL Implements akazaLMS Training platform for Unilever Sri Lanka sales force.

SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT solutions and Mobile Services Provider is supporting Unilever Sri Lanka, one of the largest fast-moving consumer goods companies in the country to empower and motivate staff by providing a flexible and comprehensive online training platform through SLT-MOBITEL’s cloud e-learning solution, akaza Learning Management Solution (LMS).
