Bileeta teamed up with SLT for SaaS on ‘akaza’ Cloud and reselling partnership

Sri Lanka’s leading world class enterprise solutions provider and the licensed national backbone network operator, Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) strengthened its Cloud Platform, “akaza” portfolio with signing an agreement with Bileeta (Pvt) Ltd to resell the Entution Cloud ERP solution to the SME and Mid-Market in Sri Lanka and globally. This is one of the many hallmark partnership initiatives embarked under the Akaza Cloud Program.

SLT group EBITDA improved by 5.4%, increasing depreciation affected bottom line.

Sri Lanka Telecom (PLC) released its Group and Company financial performance 2017 today. The group comprised of 8 subsidiaries including Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd.

During the reporting year Group Operating Profit Before Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) improved by 5.4% to Rs. 21.2 bn. This improvement is a result of revenue growth and minimum escalation of operational costs.

SLT eSports Regional Challenge rocks Kandy City Centre

April 8, 2018 saw the Kandy City Centre swarmed with young e-gamers from across the country to witness and participate in the SLT eSports Regional Challenge held in Kandy this year. The SLT eSports Regional Challenge, Kandy, organized by SLT in partnership with the Sri Lankan eSports Association (SLESA) and Gamer.lk was a huge success, with the participation of a large number of e-gamers.

Sri Lanka Telecom presents one of the globally emerging topics of the Digital Economy, through a knowledge sharing programme themed, “TelcoNext - Empowering the Digital Economy, Together”. The programme is to be held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo on 9th May, 2018 from 6.00pm onwards. The Company expects to share its expertise among the tech savvy professionals in the corporate, IT, BPO, BPM, public sectors as well as academics through the programme.

SLT Customer Club – Ratnapura and SLT volunteer staff conduct “Planting for Water”

SLT Customer Club - Ratnapura together with the SLT volunteer team has organized a mission, “Planting for Water”, which is a “reforestation project” conducted at Rakwana Palamkotte mountain range, bordering the world heritage Sinharaja rain forest. This programme was greatly supported and guided by the regional authorities from the Department of National Community Water Supply, Forest Department Sri Lanka and volunteers from the community living in the area.

SLT enter into landmark agreement to power the UDA’s multiple condominiums as the exclusive telecommunications partner

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national telecommunication service provider and the Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka (UDA) signed an agreement recently, to undertake to build ICT infrastructure for seven new condominiums to be constructed in urban areas. Under the agreement, SLT will be the Exclusive Telecommunication Service Provider for these housing projects.

SLT Fibre to power Phases 3 & 4 of Havelock City

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider in Sri Lanka was proud to announce its partnership with the BOI approved Mireka Homes (Private) Ltd., to be the Exclusive Telecommunication Service Provider for the Phases 3 and 4 of Havelock City the largest integrated mixed-use development project undertaken in Sri Lanka The landmark agreement between the two companies was signed recently at SLT head office premises, in the presence of respective officials from both companies.
