The 2014 calendar depicts drawings of 12 varieties of medicinal plants that have been widely used for medicinal purposes for over thousands of years.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT service provider successfully demonstrated its 4G LTE fixed broadband technology at a ceremony held at the Dr. N. M. Perera Memorial Hall in Ruwanwella, Kegalle recently. SLT’s 4G LTE speeds and access capabilities were demonstrated to Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology and Hon. Athauda Seneviratne, Senior Minister Rural Affairs in the presence of Mr. Lalith De Silva, Group CEO of SLT and many other top officials.

Sri Lanka Telecom wins an award at the prestigious 'Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Awards 2013'

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national telecommunication service provider, was the proud recipient of a Merit Certificate at the Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Awards (SLNEEA) organized by Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energy. SLT partners 15 global telcos to connect continents via SEA-ME-WE 5 cable system.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) – the country’s ICT giant – proudly announces that the company has partnered 15 international telecommunication operators representing 17 countries to build the South East Asia - Middle East - Western Europe 5 (SEA-ME-WE 5) state-of-the-art undersea cable system: a multi-regional superhighway spanning approximately 20,000 kilometres from Asia Pacific to Europe via Sri Lanka.
