Sri Lanka Telecom, embarked on its latest CSR initiative to plant trees in parallel to the Divi Neguma Project initiated by the Government of Sri Lanka. The company’s tree planting project commenced on Friday, 11^th October at auspicious time at SLT Welikada premises. The tree planting ceremony was attended by GCEO of SLT, Lalith De Silva and other SLT Officers. The company has plans to continue this project into the near future – it has pledged to plant a medicinal plant in a school each time a new triple play customer is added to its customer database.
