Sri Lanka Telecom successfully completed another customer forum under the theme “Beyond Borders” for SME customers in the Uva Province to cater to the customers in the Nuwer Eliya and Hatton areas. The customer forum was held recently at Hotel Alpine, Nuwera Eliya, with the presence of Mr. Mahinda Dodampegamage, Mayor of Nuwera Eliya and Ms. Bodhimanna, Divisional Secretary of Nuwera Eliya. Mr. Chinthaka Wijesooriya, Chief Regional Officer / SLT and Mr. Roshan Kaluarachchi, Chief Marketing Officer / SLT and other SLT officers also attended the customer forum.

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) released its Company and group financial performance for the 4th Quarter 2014, and the cumulative for the year 2014. The group comprises the Holding Company Sri Lanka Telecom PLC and seven other subsidiaries including the mobile arm Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd. (Mobitel).

SLT in collaboration with ITN, Lakhanda and Adha newspaper, conducted ‘Sri Lanka Telecom – Lakhanda Sisu Dam Sariya’ program at Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo in keeping with the spirit of the Wesak season. Under this, a ‘Dharma Deesahnaya’ was conducted and it was telecast live on ITN and Lakhanda on the morning of 30th April 2015. Approximately 2,500,000 students were able to listen to the Dharma Deeshanaya via TV and radio.
