Sri Lanka Telecom Annual Report 2020 was once again recognised for its high-quality financial reporting when it secured a coveted Gold Award in the Telecommunication sector, at the 56th Annual Report Awards organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) held recently.

Since it was published, the Sri Lanka Telecom Annual Report 2020 has continued to garner several accolades for promoting transparency, accountability, good governance, and social responsibility in addition to overall excellence in financial reporting.

The Sri Lanka Telecom Annual Report 2020 won another prestigious honour recently, when it was recognized at the South Asian Federation of Accountant (SAFA) Best presented Annual Reports Awards, Integrated Reporting Awards and SAARC Anniversary awards for Corporate Governance Disclosure 2020 competition. The Report won the main award in the ‘Communication and Information Technology sector’ category.

SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider has received Jury Recognition at the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards 2021 organised in association with The Economic Times.

The third edition of the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards recognised and celebrated UiPath customers in India and South Asia, for the business impact created by driving innovation using automation in their respective fields. At a virtual awards ceremony, 31 winners across 15 categories were felicitated in their quest to become fully automated enterprises.

Colombo, March 9, 2022 - SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, held the Graduation Ceremony of its education arm, the SLT Training Centre (SLTTC), on the 9^th of March, 2022 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. Degrees and diplomas were conferred on graduates of the BEng (Hons) Degree Programme awarded by the University of Hertfordshire, UK and the BTEC HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering, by Pearson, UK.

SLT-MOBITEL, the National solutions Provider, has extended mGuide service for SLT-Mobitel Home customers (fixed-line customers) enabling them to rediscover places of interest such as archaeological and historical heritage sites.

SLT-Mobitel mGuide service, an interactive voice portal that allows customers to listen to detailed descriptions of Sri Lanka’s historical, cultural and religious sites, was previously only accessible to SLT-Mobitel mobile customers.

SLT-MOBITEL, the national ICT solution services provider, joining hands with the Sri Lanka Chamber of Tourism and Industry conducted a women empowerment program in Arugam Bay recently, in line with the International Women’s Day 2022.

The management of SLT-MOBITEL, categorically denies the recent speculations and reports of a possible sale of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) assets.

The company states that these reports have not been clarified from the SLT Board of Directors or the Secretary to the Treasury, being the entity that holds 49.5% of its shares.

SLT reassures its shareholders, customers and employees that such a decision has not been considered and it is committed to continue operations as is.
