SLT group EBITDA improved by 5.4%, increasing depreciation affected bottom line.

Sri Lanka Telecom (PLC) released its Group and Company financial performance 2017 today. The group comprised of 8 subsidiaries including Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd.

During the reporting year Group Operating Profit Before Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) improved by 5.4% to Rs. 21.2 bn. This improvement is a result of revenue growth and minimum escalation of operational costs.

SLT the winner of three awards at the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards 2018

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider was the proud recipient of three awards at the prestigious Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards held at the Taj Samudra Colombo recently. SLT Group Chairman, Mr. P.G. Kumarasinghe Sirisena, CEO of SLT - Mr. Kiththi Perera, Chief Operating /Technology Officer of SLT - Mr. Priyantha Fernandez, Chief HR Officer of SLT - Mrs. Indrani Hissalle and Chief Customer Officer - Mr. Roshan Kaluarachchi attended the ceremony and accepted the awards on behalf of the company.

SLT enters into an agreement with Sri Lanka Port Authority to provide communication services to SLPA.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the National ICT solutions & Digital services provider signed an agreement with Sri Lanka Port Authority (SLPA) to provide communication services to SLPA. The agreement between the two companies was signed at the SLPA premises in Colombo. On behalf of SLPA; Chairman- General Daya Ratnayake, Managing Director - Mr. W.S. Weeraman, and on behalf of SLT, CEO -Mr. Kiththi Perera, Chief Enterprise & Wholesale Officer - Mr. Janaka Abeysinghe signed the agreement as the authorized signatories.
